To optimize service and to minimize delays, Beaumont ZIP Transit's Calder Route will be redesigned to remain on Phelan Road. Marked bus tops will no longer be serviced, with new bus stops to provide easy access to riders, according to a news release from the city of Beaumont.
The last day of operations on the Calder route will be on Saturday, Feb. 14. The new stops on Phelan will go into effect on Monday, February 16.
The new bus stops will service:
- Phelan & Kennedy
- Phelan & Belvedere
- Phelan & Goodhue
- Phelan & Peyton
- Phelan (Between Dunkin Donuts & Popeye's)
- Phelan & Chase Bank
