Due to hazardous road conditions caused by cold weather, ZIP Transit Bus and Paratransit Van services may experience delays beginning Friday, January 23 through Monday, January 26. The safety of passengers and employees remains ZIP Transit’s top priority. If conditions deteriorate to the point that vehicles cannot operate safely, service may be temporarily suspended or cancelled.
On Monday, January 26, all ZIP Bus routes and Paratransit Vans will operate with a one-hour delayed start. Riders who typically travel during early morning hours are encouraged to plan for alternate transportation. Updated schedules and service information will be communicated through ZIP Rider Alerts.
Additionally, if temperatures drop below freezing on Sunday, ZIP Transit will activate the Winter Weather Transportation Program. Emergency service will operate on the ZIP Winter Weather Route from 4-9 p.m. Details about the emergency route and the most current service updates are available at beaumontzip.com.
ZIP Transit encourages riders to continue monitoring Rider Alerts and ZIP Transit social media channels for the most up-to-date information regarding service changes.
