Kelly Bulldog golf team brings holiday spirit at annual basket giveaway

The Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School Bulldog golf team traded their golf clubs for giving hands this holiday season, volunteering at the 15th annual Everlasting Changes Basket Giveaway to support families in need.

Sophomores Reece Williams and Christian Mathews, freshman Lucian Mazzola, and assistant coach Austin Williams joined forces with community volunteers to serve 1,500 meals and distribute turkeys to 600 families during the event. Their efforts were part of a larger initiative to ensure families in Beaumont could celebrate the holidays with joy and gratitude.

The annual event has become a cherished tradition in the community, bringing together local organizations, businesses, and volunteers in the spirit of service and togetherness. The Bulldog golf team exemplified the values of leadership, teamwork, and service that are at the heart of Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.

“This event is a powerful reminder of how we can make a real difference in the lives of others,” said Williams. “Watching our players contribute their time and energy was truly inspiring. It’s about more than golf—it’s about building character and serving the community.”

The Bulldog golf team’s involvement highlights their dedication to positively impacting their community both on and off the course. Their contributions played an integral role in the success of this year’s Holiday Basket Giveaway, spreading hope and holiday cheer to families across the region.
