Beaumont Events’ “13 Nights of Halloween” continues with the 1980 Stanley Kubrick psychological film, “The Shining” 4K Remastered. Frequently cited as one of the best horror films of all time, Jack Torrance accepts a caretaker job at the Overlook Hotel, where he, along with his wife Wendy and their son Danny, must live isolated from the rest of the world for the winter. But they aren’t prepared for the madness that lurks within. The Jefferson also has a new state-of-the-art 4K laser projection system and Dolby surround sound. The City of Beaumont’s investment was met with a grant funding from the B.A. and E.W. Steinhagen Benevolent Trust.
