Harbor Foundation will host their 12th annual Butterfly Release on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The community is invited to attend the family day with free admission, food, crafts, and many kid-focused activities. One of the day’s highlights is the heartwarming butterfly release at 1:45 p.m. – a touching tribute to the cherished memories of our loved ones. It’s a beautiful opportunity to honor those who have passed while celebrating the beauty of life in the present. For those who purchase $10 butterflies, each one is individually wrapped, creating a sense of anticipation. As the butterflies are released simultaneously, prepare to be awestruck by the sight of butterflies taking flight together, a moment that will surely be etched in your memory. Donations will help improve the quality of life to assist those in hospice care beyond what healthcare would normally provide.
