Rehab

Sat., Aug. 17, 8 p.m. • Red’s Icehouse, Beaumont • $15+

Danny Boone Alexander planted the seeds for the band Rehab in Warner Robins, Georgia in the 1970s. It wasn’t until 2000 when Alexander’s group, “Rehab,” signed with Epic Records and released “Southern Discomfort.” The album sold more than 150,000 units thanks to the hit, “It Don’t Matter.” A few years later, Rehab struck gold with “Sittin’ at the Bar – The Bartender Song,” which resulted in a collaboration with Hank Williams Jr. and a nomination for CMT’s Video of the Year in 2009. Other popular hits include “1980” and “Welcome Home.” Local performers Lee Pelly and Ethan Osborne will open the show.
