The live music returns to the Spindletop Boomtown Museum with the next “Boomtown Summer Serenade” featuring a performance by local Texas country musician, Jamie Talbert. Talbert, who just released a new single, “I’ll Stick Around,” has spent the better part of two decades honing his craft and evolving his live performances on countless Texas stages. Along the way, he has made an impressive list of friends, opening shows for the likes of Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, Roger Creager, Honeybrowne, Don Williams and countless others. During Super Bowl Bash 2004, he even shared a stage with the Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar. Come lose yourself in live music as you indulge in delicious food and refreshing spirits. Lamar University students are in free.
