Concert photos: Gary Clark Jr. wows Golden Nugget crowd

Austin-born Gary Clark Jr. is phenomenal. The four-time Grammy Award winner, who fuses blues, rock, soul and R&B, literally wowed a packed house Golden Nugget crowd Feb. 5 in nearby Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Clark, 37, has collaborated with the likes of the Foo Fighters, Alicia Keys, but the guitar-hero has established himself as a legitimate headliner. He is touring in support of his latest record, "The Land," in which it’s easy to hear the lineage that connects Muddy Waters and Childish Gambino, with distinct nods to Marvin Gaye somewhere in the middle.

The two-hour show featured songs including "Bright Lights," "Got to Get Up," "Cold Blooded," "Pearl Cadillac," "Low Down Rolling Stone" and "Feed the Babies."
