USPS to begin mailing free, at-home COVID tests

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is offering one set of four free at-home COVID-19 tests to each residential address in the nation.

There is a limit of one order per household, and interested residents may fill out applications at special.usps.com/testkits. One order includes four individual rapid antigen tests. USPS officials expect shipment to start in late January.

The form requires a name and a shipping address. At no point did the USPS ask for credit or debit card information in orders placed by Examiner staff.
