Due to the continuing conditions caused by Tropical Storm Nicholas hovering over Southeast Texas, the City of Beaumont closed non-essential city offices Sept. 14 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Non-essential Beaumont services will not be available today, according to a news release. That includes trash pickup and transit services.
