Beaumont PD raids game room, charges pending

Jan. 3, at 11 a.m., detectives with the Beaumont Police Department Special Services Division, Special Assignment Unit and SWAT were assisted by Beaumont Fire Department investigators in executing a search warrant at a game room located in the 8000 block of College St.

Company awards $3,544 grant to OISD

Orangefield ISD was awarded a $3,544 grant from International Paper, according to an announcement by the school district. The funds will reportedly be used to purchase items to enhance the curriculum in the dyslexia and ESL classes.
