Port Arthur Medical Center of Southeast Texas owner Steward Health Care System LLC filed for bankruptcy May 6, commencing an in-court restructuring process through voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, according to a company press release.
