Tuesday, March 31, at 9:44 p.m., Beaumont police responded to the 9300 block of Riggs Street in reference to a victim of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they located the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Beaumont EMS were called to the scene and pronounced the victim dead.

Beaumont confirms 3 new COVID-19 cases

March 31, 2020 the Beaumont Public Health Department (BPHD) received confirmation of 3 positive cases of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Beaumont, bringing the total number of cases to 21 (19 in Beaumont and 2 in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County).
