Friday, March 5, Groves police arrested a man for allegedly sexually abusing minors, according to GPD.  Saturday, Feb. 6, GPD officers responded to a disturbance in the 6900 block of Willow Street in Groves. The caller advised Mark Brown, 38, had sexually abused a minor.

Woman assaulted after calling boyfriend disrespectful

A Beaumont man was indicted March 3 for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend after she confronted him for bringing “several” women to their home around midnight. Beaumont police were dispatched to Raven Street in reference to an assault just after midnight Dec. 28, 2020.
