BISD lockdowns spur security upswing

West Brook students were released from lockdown just before 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25 after a bomb threat and a reports of a student on campus with a gun were resolved.

Although students were seen walking from the West Brook High School campus after police identified a weapon threat, the school was still in lockdown at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, according to a district spokesperson.
