Top 10 wanted sex offender arrested in Galveston

Feb. 10, Joe Hernandez, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was taken into custody by the Galveston Police Department after turning himself in. In 1998, Hernandez was convicted of three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child following incidents involving 2-year-old and 7-year-old girls.

Beaumont Police Department (BPD) officers arrested approximately 20 suspects after responding to 10500 Vinson St. in reference to numerous subjects blocking the roadway. According to a Feb. 11 news release, these subjects were reported to have handguns and rifles.
