Beaumont police say a woman and two children were the victims of an attempted kidnapping at Parkdale Mall by a 65-year-old stranger wielding a knife. At about 9:49 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, BPD responded to Parkdale Mall in reference to a weapons offense, according to a report released June 15.

Bond was denied for a man with district warrants from Hardin County who was arrested last month. According to Sheriff Bryan Weatherford, Chastyn Graham, 43, of Colmesneil, was arrested after Tyler County Sheriff’s deputies after they searched his residence.
