AMSET’s Free Family Arts Day

Oh where, oh where has the summer gone? As back to school quickly approaches (with many already in school), the Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) is inviting children and their families to finish their summer with an artistic flair and join in AMSET’s Free Family Arts Day on Saturday, Aug.

Moody Gardens Air, Car and Boat Show

Visitors will be treated to plane aerobatics and pyrotechnics, warbirds; mega yachts, classic cars, and the stories that accompany them all along with much more at the new Moody Gardens Air, Car, and Boat Show on Aug. 12-14.

Seafarer’s Gala

National Farmers Market Week (NFMW) is Aug. 7 – 13, and the Beaumont Famers Market (BFM) is celebrating on two Saturdays – Aug. 6 and Aug. 13, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., adding some fun extras and unique treats to commemorate the week.

Entergy fan donations marks 22 years

Entergy Texas Inc. marked 22 years of donating fans to help low-income customers in the community stay cool and save money this summer, donating 1,300 boxed fans to 36 cities and agencies across Southeast Texas, bringing the total number of fans donated to 25,800 since the program started in 2000.
