Two sisters were arrested on felony burglary charges of a Fred store, according to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford. Weatherford reported on Oct. 17 at about 11:20 p.m. Tyler County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Country Corner Store.

An argument between two men resulted in the shooting death of one man and the arrest of the other on Nov. 7, reported Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis. According to Davis, the shooting occurred about 8:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Pine Park Drive, a neighborhood off of FM 1122, north of Silsbee.
