If Willy Wonka ever imagined a one-stop-shop entertainment facility for all to enjoy, this would have been the place. News was first broken by The Examiner in May of 2022 that Beaumont would be the next home for a Main Event.

Free tax help available, volunteers sought

Southeast Texans making up to $59,000 a year can benefit from assistance provided free of charge in filing 2022 tax returns, made possible though the VITA program, managed by Lamar University’s Division of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations, beginning Feb. 4.
