Credit union issues fraud alert
The DuGood Federal Credit Union reported they have been made aware that some members have received fraudulent calls appearing to be from the credit union.
Sole shooter arrested in double murder
The suspect in a double muder turned himself in, according to the Beaumont Police Department (BPD).
April 12, Dijon Ivory, 29, of Beaumont, was charged with two counts of murder and bond was set at $2 million.

In the near future, some Hardin County residents may not have to make the trip to attend classes at Lamar State College-Orange (LSCO).
Because of the increased number of Lumberton students enrolled for classes at LSCO, construction of its first satellite campus is underway in Hardin County.
