The Texas Justice Court Training Center is advising Justices of the Peace to report “suspected coronavirus death” on death certificates when the patient was suspected to have the virus before death. However, the EOC will not report COVID-19 deaths unless they have been validated through Public Health Authorities. 

Total calls received by Call Center – 3,063

  • 128 calls received today
  • 1,188 patients have been tested at the two test sites

Call volume has gone down considerably. Citizens are encouraged to call 409-550-2536 to be evaluated for testing. The Call Center is open 24-hours, seven days a week.

Addendum 6 to Judge Jeff Branick’s 7th Amended Emergency Order was issued today easing restrictions on the Jefferson County burn ban. Addendum 7 to Judge Jeff Branick’s 7th Amended Emergency Order was signed today in Jefferson County amending restrictions on golf course closings.
