Port Arthur LNG recently launched its new scholarship fund, Pathways to Port Arthur LNG Scholarship Fund in partnership with Foundation for Southeast Texas.
Ten students in Jefferson and Orange County pursuing STEM-based careers will receive up to four years of full tuition, books and fees at eligible institutions. These include:
- Lamar University
- Lamar Institute of Technology
- Lamar State College Port Arthur
- Lamar State College Orange
- Golden Triangle Empowerment Center
- Pathway Vocational Academy
- Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas
- Associate Builders and Contractors
Applications are open now through April 15.
In order to apply, students must have two letters of recommendation, an official high school transcript, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and include a list of awards, extracurriculars, employment and volunteer experience.
