PAPD searching for two involved in shootout

Around 5:45 Monday, Port Arthur police responded to a call in reference to a shootout on Highway 73, according to a news release.

Officers learned that gunfire was exchanged between two individuals. Both suspects fled the scene before officers arrived. 

Investigators are following leads to locate the two.
