PA pair shot in altercation

Around 1:30 p.m. May 30, PAPD officers were dispatched to a shooting that occurred at the Prince Hall Apartment Complex, according to a news release.  

Officers located a shooting victim between two apartments on the complex’s west side. A second victim arrived at the police station and collapsed from her injuries. Investigation revealed the two victims and suspect were involved in a physical altercation. During the dispute, the suspect produced a handgun and shot the two victims.

Both victims were taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Trauma Center. The suspect was located in a nearby apartment and was arrested and transported to Jefferson County Correctional Facility for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
