Nederland man arrested on federal arrest warrant

On July 2, a joint effort among law enforcement agencies served a federal arrest warrant in Nederland, according to a news release. 

Member of the U.S. Marshall’s Fugitive Apprehension Team, the Nederland Police Department, Port Arthur Narcotics and Gun Unit and DEA arrested 29-year-old Nederland resident Troy Michael Reese. This arrest warrant stems from a 2019 undercover narcotics operation conducted by the DEA and the Port Arthur Police.

During the arrest operation, Reese was apprehended without incident and a subsequent search warrant was obtained for the residence. During the search, officers located 8 ounces of methamphetamine and two rifles.
