April 23, a man was struck and killed by a vehicle in Orange, according to the Orange Police Department. Officers were called to the 1900 block of MacArthur Drive about 5:52 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers located Dale Rose II, 59, of Bulverde. Medical personnel attempted life-saving measures; however, Rose died at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police reported. Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Rodney Price responded, pronounced Rose dead, and ordered an autopsy.
Sgt. Isaac Henry III said the incident remains under investigation.
