An ice storm warning was issued January 23 at 10:56 a.m. until January 25 at 6 p.m. by the National Weather Service in Lake Charles, LA.
WHAT: Total ice accumulations around a tenth to up to a half inch possible.
WHERE: Portions of central, southwest, and west central Louisiana and southeast Texas.
WHEN: From 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 p.m. Sunday.
IMPACTS: Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible.
