Hollyfield named Pinehurst police chief

    During the Jan. 13 meeting of the Pinehurst City Council, Jason Hollyfield was sworn in as the new police chief. 

    Hollyfield brings over 15 years experience to the department, previously serving as a captain with the Pinehurst Police Department working for Kirbyville PD, and was promoted from a criminal investigator as the Sex Offender Registration Program coordinator for the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) in Oct. 2024.
