Hardin County girls win titles

A pair of Hardin County girls were named to the 2022 Southeast Texas Western Royalty lineup this month – Sophomore Reanna McMillan, an officer for the Silsbee High School FFA, and junior Brooke Brinkley, of the Lumberton FFA. With their crowns, the winners will attend all local rodeos and fairs representing Southeast Texas, as well as advocating for agriculture in the area.

Additionally, Lumberton FFA member Emily Smith brought home the Grand Champion Berkshire Gilt at the State Fair of Texas this past weekend. Smith also placed fourth in class with her Duroc gilt.
