Gov. Abbott lifts air travel restrictions from California, New York and other states

Gov. Greg Abbott issued Executive Order No. GA-24 on Thursday afternoon that terminates the restrictions of air travel as part of the safe, strategic plan to Open Texas in response to COVID-19.

No longer will those traveling from California, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Washington, Atlanta, Georgia, Chicago, Detroit, Miami and Illinois have to serve a mandatory quarantine for 14 days, effective immediately.
