Entergy Texas continues to work to restore power following this morning’s severe weather. As of 4 p.m., around 4,000 customers remain without power across Southeast Texas, down from nearly 20,000 at the height of the storm.

In Jefferson, Hardin and Orange Counties, approximately 3,500 customers remain without power. Earlier today, additional crews were brought in to assist with the restoration effort. The company anticipates to have a majority of customers restored this evening, with some customers in the hardest-hit areas carrying over to tomorrow. Customers can sign up to receive alerts about their specific outage or visit Entergy’s outage map for the latest information.

Entergy Texas is working to ensure they have the people and resources to respond to outages, while also maintaining safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional measures, such as social distancing, must be taken due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For their safety and yours, please respect their safety work zones.
