Around 8:30 p.m. BPD officers responded to a report of a missing juvenile at the Petro Truck Stop on Walden Road, according to a new release.
Officers searched several hotels in the area in an attempt to locate the victim and eventually received information that the victim was seen at the Executive Inn. There the officers located the missing victim, along with a second juvenile, with 22-year-old Darrell Jordan of Beaumont and 19-year-old Paige Sidney of Groves. According to the release, evidence on scene indicated human trafficking and BPD Special Crimes Detectives responded to the scene.
Jordan and Sidney were placed under arrest for trafficking of a person. Jordan was additionally charged with felon in possession of a firearm. The two were taken to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility and the incident is under investigation.
