Driver dies in Park Street crash

Around 3 a.m. Sept. 26, Beaumont police responded to a crash in the 1300 block of Park Street, according to a news release. Officers arrived to find the involved vehicle completely engulfed in flames.

The investigation revealed the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed before losing control. The driver then struck a building and a parked vehicle on the northeast corner of Park and Blanchette. The driver, identified as Bruce Wayne Green Jr., 41. The investigation is ongoing.
