The Lumberton Police Department reported a car slammed into the front of Good Grounds Coffee + Cafe, located in The Refinery in the 700 block of South Main Street, around 10:40 a.m. April 23.
According to a video posted online, a four-door Toyota sedan crashed through the front entrance as several people inside scattered. No one was injured, and the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution, Police Chief Danny Sullins reported.
The crash also damaged the counter service area.
LPD and Lumberton Fire Department personnel responded to the scene.
