Beaumont has confirmed around 30 COVID-19 cases every day for the month of November. 

More than 300 Beaumont residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since Halloween. Beaumont Baptist Hospital’s Dr. Qamar Arfeen told The Examiner cases contracted on Halloween are just starting to appear. 

Arfeen worries Southeast Texans have become too relaxed in their response to the virus which he says has crippled families.
