The Beaumont Municipal Court is offering an Amnesty Program through April 10 for individuals with Class C misdemeanor warrants.
The program is designed to reduce the number of outstanding warrants by waiving associated warrant fees and encouraging individuals to voluntarily resolve their cases. This initiative also reportedly aims to improve overall case resolution within the court system.
During the amnesty period, individuals with active warrants may voluntarily appear in court without the risk of arrest and without paying additional warrant fees. Individuals with outstanding warrants related to traffic violations, municipal code violations, minor state law offenses or city ordinance violations that occurred within the Beaumont city limits are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.
Outstanding tickets may be resolved by phone at (409) 980-7200, in person at the Beaumont Municipal Court, located at 700 Orleans St., or online at beaumonttexas.gov/275/Active-Warrants.
