Alleged consummate conwoman and courtroom regular Mary G. Bond has continued to collect legal troubles, as The Examiner learned June 3 that her lawyer filed a motion to withdraw as her representation over a "conflict of interest" to be expounded upon at a June 6 hearing.

According to information from Judge John Stevens' court, Bond's attorney, Ryan Gertz, has filed a motion asking the judge to remove him as the 37-year-old woman's lawyer. Bond retained Gertz to defend her on counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and securing a document by deception.

Bond's familiarity with crime is detailed in pages of The Examiner found by clicking the links below:

Joe Deshotel, 22nd District State Representative, details how Bond attempted to blackmail and extort money from the elected official in a Feb. 17 edition of The Examiner.

At a May 17 hearing concerning charges for stealing a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car and securing a document by deception, Mary Bond learned the DA’s office has another pending theft charge that could reach a grand jury in the coming months.

June 2, The Examiner revealed new theft allegations against Bond levied by Christian “Manuel” Hayes, Deshotel’s former right-hand man and current District 22 candidate.
