AT&T store squabble swells to fatal shooting

At about 10:19 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, Port Arthur Police Department (PAPD) officers responded to the AT&T store at 8445 Memorial Blvd. in reference to a shooting between two people who were in a relationship.

According to a news release, 26-year-old Brittany Nicole Tims was engaged in an argument with Ronald Frazier, 31, before Tims allegedly shot Frazier in the chest. Frazier was pronounced dead at the scene, and Tims was arrested there for murder. She was then transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility for proper booking.

This incident is currently under investigation by PAPD's Criminal Investigation Division.
