Satellite soul - Interview with P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval

Platinum selling superstars P.O.D. – vocalist Sonny Sandoval, guitarist Marcos Curiel and bassist Traa Daniels – have returned with a twist. They have shared a surprising but incredible cover of a classic.

P.O.D.’s rendition of “Don’t Let Me Down,” the legendary track by The Beatles recorded in 1969, was revamped with class with heavy style that holds up with some of the greatest renditions throughout music history.

The SoCal rockers, who have given us timeless their own classics like “Youth of a Nation,” “Southtown,” “Boom” and “Goodnow for Now,” are back in Houston in support of their 2024 album “Veritas” on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 713 Music Hall with Seether and Daughtry.

Tickets can be purchased online at 713musichall.com.

We spent some time with Sandoval before the tour started to talk the legacy of P.O.D., cover songs, upcoming solo projects and future P.O.D. plans.
