Lighting up in Southeast Texas

Many families have their own unique Christmas traditions, whether it’s watching Rudolph, Frosty, or the 24-hour marathon of “A Christmas Story” while leaving cookies and milk out for Santa Claus to snack on as he delivers gifts on Christmas Eve.

A Very Marshy Christmas

The community is invited to see Santa and Mrs. Claus ride into Sea Rim State Park on an airboat and join them for hot cocoa, Christmas crafts and photo opportunities. Ever wonder how Santa gets around in the marsh to visit all the good little children? By airboat of course!

A Celtic Christmas

The Port Arthur International Seafarers’ Center will host A Celtic Christmas featuring everyone’s favorite Irish lad, Danny O’Flaherty. A Celtic Christmas is steeped in rich Celtic heritage and customs that combines the rich cultural traditions of the Celts with the festive spirit of Christmas.
