Super Bowl Sunday Hike

The Big Thicket Association is hosting its annual “Super Bowl Sunday Hike” beginning at the North End Turkey Creek Trail on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. The hike is approximately 4 miles, but hikers can choose shorter or longer options.

Mardi Gras – Southeast Texas style

It was nearly 24 years ago when a small group of friends created Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas. After years of planning and collaboration with dozens of nonprofit organizations, their inaugural Mardi Gras was held in Port Arthur in February of 1993.
