Roving Perception

BAL will host an artist reception for Xenia Fedorchenko, “Roving Perception, a Plein Air Exhibition.” Fedorchenko, originally from Moscow, Russia, joined the art faculty of Lamar University in 2006 to teach printmaking and drawing. She received her Master of Fine Arts in printmaking from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (2006) and her Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts (2000). Plein air painting is a new practice for Fedorchenko, resulting from the time of pandemic isolation. The exhibit is on display through Feb. 28. Pieces are available for purchase.
