Then time to watch the 1986 teen comedy, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” which stars Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, Alan Ruck, Jennifer Grey, Jeffrey Jones, Cindy Pickett, Edie McClurg, Lyman Ward and Charlie Sheen. After high school slacker Ferris Bueller successfully fakes an illness in order to skip school for the day, he goes on a series of adventures throughout Chicago with his girlfriend Sloane and best friend Cameron, all the while trying to outwit his wily school principal and fed-up sister. The 2001 sci-fi psychological thriller, “Donnie Darko,” will be shown Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. Adults only.
