The Orient Express has a rich legacy that extends far beyond being just a train route – it has become a symbol of romance, mystery, glamour, and the golden age of travel. First launched in 1883, the Orient Express connected Western Europe to Istanbul, representing technological progress, international travel freedom, luxury and sophistication.
