A stabbing victim is recovering from an early Friday morning stabbing in Beaumont. Police were called to the 3700 block of East Lucas around 2:45 am and found the victim bleeding from a stab wound. Officers administered first-aid until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment for minor injuries. Preliminary investigation reveal the victim was involved in an altercation with another man when he was stabbed. The investigation is ongoing.
