A $1 million bond has been set on a murder suspect. 37-year-old Travis Hall, of China Tx, is charged with the Tuesday, Oct 27, stabbing death of 45-year-old Renee Nelson.
Nelson's body was found in a room at the Midtown Inn, located in the 1200 block of N 11th Street in Beaumont.
Beaumont police detectives identified Hall as the suspect. He was located and arrested. After giving statements to detectives at the police department, Hall was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility.
Further investigation has revealed that Hall has felony warrant out of Dallas County for sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.
