Stark House welcomes new program coordinator

The W.H. Stark House announced Katherine Leister as the new program coordinator.

Leister is a Beaumont native and holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University, where she studied art history and anthropology. She previously worked for the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, McFaddin-Ward Historic House Museum, Tyrrell Historical Library and Whitney Museum of American Art.

Leister is a member of the Jefferson County Historical Commission and a tenant at The Art Studio Inc. (TASI) in Beaumont.

As program coordinator, Leister will assist with developing interpretation and programming at The W.H. Stark House.
