Spindeletop Center cancels events

Like several organization in Southeast Texas, Beaumont's Spindletop Center announced cancelations for upcoming events slated for March. 

“Due to evolving concerns over the COVID-19 virus and its potential impact on our community, Spindletop Center has made the difficult decision to cancel our Griffing Park Community Garden Groundbreaking Ceremony for this Thursday, March 19, and our 10th Annual IDD Fun Day for this Friday, March 20,” Spindletop Center Public Relations and Marketing Administrator Lane Fortenberry announced Monday, March 16. “We will reschedule these events at a later date once it is safe to proceed and will notify the media.”
