A Hardin County motorcyclist was injured in collision with a farm tractor on Feb. 26 in Jefferson County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the preliminary crash investigation indicated at 11:50 a.m., a farm tractor was traveling north, followed by a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It is reported that the motorcycle began to pass the tractor to the left and was struck by the tractor as it was making a left turn onto Blair Road.

The collision caused the motorcycle to travel into the west ditch where it struck a culvert and ejected the driver identified as Roger Guidry, 69, of Lumberton. He was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The tractor driver, Jacob Arceneaux, 27, of Austin, was not injured.
